Catherine Linton Green Melton

Metter- Catherine Linton Green Melton 77, died Tuesday, December11, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Melton was a native of Savannah, living most of her life in New York and Maryland. She has been a resident of Metter for the past 15 years. Mrs. Melton attended Westside Christian Church and was retired from General Motors.
Surviving are, her husband, Henry Elliott Melton of Metter, daughter, Catherine Schramn and husband Ed of Rochester, NY, son, Jeffrey Green and wife Elizabeth of Rincon, son, Emory J. Green and wife Lori of Batavia NY, son, William R. Green and wife Carol of Batavia, NY, daughter, Brenda Tyler and husband Mike of Rhode Island, step-son, Rev. Henry E. Melton III and wife Becky of Dawsonville, Ga, step-daughter, Teresa E. Lytle and husband Bob of Metter, nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
